Hands in the cookie jar sensor

With the power of a Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) and a buzzer, I created a sensor that makes a sound whenever the light intensity changes in a given room. One useful tool I applied this to is a cookie Jar. The famous "who put their hands in the cookie jar?" saying is no a longer a mystery. This is because now, if someone tries to steal a cookie, they will be met with a loud buzzer to alert everyone near.


It goes like this:

As shown from the video, when I put my hand over the sensor, it makes a shadow and from the LDR to the buzzer, it created a buzzing sound. You might be asking, where is the cookie jar and all the cookies? We haven't got to that yet. Before implementing it into the actual cookie jar, its important to make sure the internals work properly. Rushing it to fast and experimenting first in a cookie jar may cause malfunctions. And these malfunctions may loose all your cookies. Below are some of the parts of this project:
